Taiwan Business and Human Rights Forum A satellite event at RightsCon
Taiwan Business and Human Rights Forum A satellite event at RightsCon, 24 February 2025 RightsCon is the world’s leading summit on human rights in the digital age and will be held for the first time in Taiwan from February 24-27, 2025.
Each year, RightsCon convenes business leaders, policy makers, technologists, academics, journalists, and human rights advocates from around the world to tackle pressing issues at the intersection of human rights and technology.
To highlight the central role of Taiwan businesses in support of Taiwan’s economic diplomacy, a Business & Human Rights Forum (“Taiwan BHR Forum”) will be held on February 24 as a satellite event at RightsCon. The Forum aims to support Taiwan’s recent efforts to improve laws and policies on business & human rights, including the consideration of mandatory human rights and environmental due diligence (HREDD) for Taiwanese companies.
The Taiwan BHR Forum will convene Taiwanese and global businesses, industry groups, government policymakers, impacted communities, civil society organizations, and Taiwanese and international experts.
