Forest Peoples Programme, Sawit Watch & TUK Indonesia report: "Conflict or consent? The oil palm sector at crossroads"

In November 2013, Forest Peoples Programme, Sawit Watch and TUK Indonesia released a report raising concerns about environmental and social impacts of large-scale expansion of oil palm plantations across Southeast Asia and Africa. 

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited the companies named in the report to respond to the allegations contained in the following items:

Wilmar International did not respond, but referred us to a press release announcing its "No Deforestation, No Peat, No Exploitation Policy" aiming to protect communities and forests.
