Briefing:

Download

Key findings:

Momentum on National Action Plans and human rights policies: 4 governments completed, 10 in process, more than a dozen committed to or considering developing NAPs; 34 of the world's largest 50 companies now have a publicly-available policy statement on human rights.

Need for joint action:
There is a clear need for stronger coordination within governments as well as across government and business to protect vulnerable people. While some governments cited opposition by economic interests as an obstacle, companies highlighted a lack of willingness from governments.
