Welcome to our Chinese Responsible Investment Overseas Newsletter. We would like to thank Center For International Private Enterprise (CIPE) for contributing a guest blog, which introduces the BRI Monitor, a collaborative effort by five civil society organisations in Southeast Asia and the Pacific. The BRI Monitor website hosts descriptive case studies and a transparency heatmap of selective Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) projects, acting as a handy tool for practitioners and advocates to promote transparency and accountability in major infrastructure projects funded through China’s BRI in the region.
