Japan: Civil society groups urge government to ensure inclusiveness in NAP formulation process

The Civil Society Platform for Japan’s National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights (BHR-NAP Platform), a network of Japanese and international civil society organizations, has issued a statement stating that consultation with civil society in the formulation of the National Action Plan (NAP) on Business and Human Rights has so far not been adequate, and urging the government to ensure that civil society concerns are incorporated in the NAP.
