Japan: Olympic stadium worker commits suicide after 212 hours overtime in a month

A 23 year old foreman working for a subcontracted construction company doing work on the Olympic Stadium was found dead in April, after reportedly having worked for as much as 212 hours overtime per month. His family has petitioned the authorities for recognition as a work related death. Taisei Construction has stated that subcontractors "[are] responsible for labour management".
