缅甸:工人因担心冠状病毒而返回家乡 有人没有全薪,有人无法离开

消息人士称,由于担心冠状病毒,缅甸移民工人正在离开工作岗位从中国云南省返回家乡,因为中国雇主试图劝阻他们离开,有人没有领取欠他们的工资。

消息人士称,自1月28日以来,已有近1000人越过缅甸的金斯威霍镇(Chinshwehaw town)边境,每天约有350人在劳卡欣(Laukkaing)越过边境的缅甸果敢(Kokang)自治区,大多数人受雇于云南偏远地区的辣椒和茄子种植园。

Ma San New Htay说,部分人无法离开。
