”「週刊現代」による悪質なフェイクニュース 中国人をターゲットにした差別記事に抗議します,” 10 September 2024

"Unofficial Japanese-to-English translation by Business & Human Rights Resource Centre"

The Solidarity Network with Migrants Japan issued a statement of protest regarding the articles published by Shukan Gendai dated September 4th (see below for the relevant article) and sent it to the editorial department of Shukan Gendai.

We strongly protest against the Shukan Gendai articles, which have the potential to cause discrimination and division, and demand an apology and the publication of an investigative article.
