Affaire COMILOG : un pas vers la responsabilité juridique des multinationales

Dans l'affaire qui oppose depuis 22 ans l'entreprise minière COMILOG et 800 anciens employés au Gabon, la Cour d'appel de Paris a jugé la justice française compétente pour se saisir du dossier le 20 juin dernier. Une prochaine audience aura lieu en juin 2014 mais Sherpa, qui défend le collectif des travailleurs gabonais, estime qu'il s'agit d'une première victoire pour la reconnaissance de la responsabilité des sociétés mères sur les activités de leurs filiales à l'étranger.
