Miner aged 50 dies in workplace, fourth mining fatality in a month, 17 November 2020

A 50-year-old miner lost his life while working in the Martanesh mine. The miner identified as LT has arrived at the hospital without signs of life. The cause of his deaths is still unknown.

Just three weeks ago, three miners died in Selishte village of Dibra after being declared missing by their familiars. They were found dead inside a small mine who was property og Ismail Hoxha, who was among the victims.

In the last two years, at least seven miners have lost their lives and several others have been injured in this mine:
