Australia: Largest celery producer Lamattina fined over AUS$150k over "egregious" migrant worker wage theft & abuse

Australia's largest celery producer has been fined almost AUS$150k after an "egregious" case of wage theft. The Ombudsman had initiated proceedings in 2023 after workers alleged they were underpaid in the year between February 2020 and February 2021. One worker was only paid for 10 our of 52 weeks worked.
