The Avá Guarani have been demanding the demarcation of their original lands for decades. Farmers, ranchers and other segments of society act criminally against the communities.

Farmers from Paraná attacked the Avá-Guarani community in the Tekoha Guasu Guavirá Indigenous Land. They fired guns at the families and burned their shacks and all their food.
