ByteDance response to worker compensation & support in case of layoffs ahead of Lunar New Year

The reduction-in-force plan at the end of 2023 resulted from the restructuring in PICO has affected around 300 employees in China. We greatly appreciate the contributions of each team member and worked closely with those who were impacted to ensure they had the support they needed. Employees were properly compensated and internal transfer opportunities were provided where available.
