Luego de presentar siete amparos que buscan reparar las violaciones a los derechos humanos causadas por el derrame de 40 mil metros cúbicos de sulfato de cobre en el Río Sonora, los Comités de Cuenca Río Sonora informaron que lograron que el Juez Primero de Distrito en aquella entidad, ordenara a la Comisión Nacional del Agua que realice estudios para evitar daños a la salud ante su respuesta oficial en el juicio de no haber hecho nada al respecto. Además, informaron que la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación decidirá si atrae un juicio de amparo para determinar si Buenavista del Cobre [parte de Grupo México] puede ser considerada como autoridad responsable de las violaciones a las garantías individuales…
