Crédit Agricole response

Crédit Agricole does not finance SOCAR. The reference in the BOCC report relates to Socar Trading, the Swiss based trading company owned by SOCAR, which has diversified international suppliers and clients. The amount mentioned in your letter is not correct and does not reflect the amount which appears on the BOCC website. Moreover, it does not represent an investment by Crédit Agricole but financing in the form of a short-term transactional finance facility.
