CSO coalition criticizes Glencore's sustainability report as lacking credibility following omissions on human rights record; incl. co. response

A coalition of 12 environmental and human rights organisations signed a joint statement condemning Glencore's 2019 sustainability report as lacking credibility. The joint statement alleges that Glencore appears to apply a narrow definition of what constitutes a "serious human rights incident" to report that none had occurred during the year 2019. According to the coalition, omission of human rights incidents that occurred during 2019 obscures facts for investors.
