Demandan a Chiquita Banana en EU

Familiares de colombianos asesinados a manos del grupo paramilitar Autodefensas Unidas de Colombia (AUC) presentaron hoy una demanda civil contra la empresa estadunidense Chiquita Banana, acusada de estar involucrada con esas muertes. La demanda...involucra a 173 colombianos, abogados y promotores, quienes de ganar podrían recibir compensaciones por cientos de millones de dólares...De acuerdo con la demanda, las AUC habrían asesinado a personas que aparentemente interfirieron con los intereses financieros de Chiquita Banana, que pagó miles de dólares al grupo paramilitar por protección.
