Certains clients de Spectrum-Shahriyar se sont rendus au Bangladesh (dont Inditex-Zara, KarstadtQuelle et Cotton Group – T-shirts B&C) et ont contribué à financer les soins médicaux pour les blessés... Carrefour a distribué des machines à coudre et des vélos à remorque aux familles des travailleurs tués, mais ne s’est engagé à aucune autre contribution... Certaines entreprises clientes, dont Inditex-Zara, KarstadtQuelle et Cotton Group – T-shirts B&C, ont accepté de contribuer à la mise en place d’un fonds solidaire d’indemnisation. Mais les montants restent insuffisants et beaucoup d’autres clients, dont Carrefour, n’ont pris aucun engagement en ce sens.
