Company Response

Fast Retailing responded

Globally, we perform due diligence throughout our supply chain to identify human trafficking, slave labor, or other human rights issues...To remain abreast of the latest knowledge and information related to these issues, we seek out the opinions of audit firms, consultants, and other industry experts.

To strengthen due diligence and mitigate risk, and also aiming at continuously complying with the laws including the the UFLPA, we are working hard to improve traceability and transparency of our global supply chain and are expanding the scope of audits at spinning mills and other upstream processes. We are mapping the suppliers of our production partners...to ensure working conditions based on international guidelines are maintained across the supply chain. Going forward, we are planning to disclose the progress in our traceability efforts accordingly.

We would like to emphasize that no Fast Retailing product is manufactured in the Xinjiang region. More details are available in our previous statement on the matter: www.fastretailing.com/eng/sustainability/news/2008171600.html
