Graham Turnbull Essay Competition Prize Giving

You are cordially invited to the Prize Giving event of the 2009 Graham Turnbull essay competition. This will take place on 29th April, 6:00 for 6:30pm, at the Law Society, Chancery Lane, London... Law students, pupils, trainee solicitors and young lawyers from around the globe were invited to enter. This year’s essay title was: 'can international human rights law provide meaningful obligations for business?'…The title of the essay was chosen to reflect the growing importance of businesses, including mulit-national corporations as significant global actors. Our first guest speaker at the event will be Professor Sheldon Leader, University of Essex…The second speaker will be Lord Lester of Herne Hill.
