Indonesia: A smelter project in IMIP built by China MCC20 Group reportedly fails to pay wages to workers; including company non-responses

In May 2024, a social media post indicated that workers at the China MCC20 Group Guang Qing De (广青德) 1780 project in Indonesia's IMIP were owed wages, prompting them to go on strike for several days between 25 and 27 May.

We invited China MCC 20 Group and Tsingshan Group to respond; neither did.
