Malaysia: Social auditors for Brightway glove factory concluded there was no forced labour, while state inspectors found workers in modern slavery conditions; incl. co. comments
Malaysia state labour inspectors found workers living squalid conditions akin to modern slavery at Brightway Holdings facilities. Earlier inspections by social auditing firms concluded that there was no forced labour at the same facilities, although reports detected violations of Malaysian labour laws.
