Iveco Group response

... We are committed to the creation of long-term sustainable value for all of our stakeholders, and respect of applicable international trade laws is a prerequisite for achieving such results.

Iveco Group recognizes the critical importance of adhering to export control regulations established by the United Nations, European Union, United States and local jurisdictions in the countries where it operates. Consequently, Iveco Group is committed to ensuring full compliance with these regulations and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to ensuring that its partners also comply, as non-compliance with export control laws may result in civil and criminal penalties for both the Group and the other parties involved.

Notwithstanding with the fact that Iveco Group does not possess any control over its products transferred or exported by third parties with whom there is no direct contractual relationship, it has to be noted that the Group has implemented specific contractual safeguards obligating our importers and distributors to ensure that its products, along with any associated technology or information, are nor resold, exported, or re-exported outside a designated territory, and/or to any prohibited destinations, entities, or individuals, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including sanctions and embargoes imposed by international bodies such as the United Nations, United States, the European Union, and others. Additionally, the Distributor is required to guarantee that these products are not utilized for military, chemical, biological, or nuclear purposes, nor for capital punishment, torture, or other inhumane treatments. The Distributor must also refrain from transferring or reselling the products if there is any suspicion that they may be intended for such uses.

In conclusion, please be assured that Iveco Group’s mission and values have always been, and will continue be, firmly aligned with upholding international trade laws.
