México: Detienen a defensora de derechos laborales en las maquiladoras del norte del país; una empresa responde

Susana Prieto Terrazas es una abogada conocida por su defensa activa de los derechos laborales de las personas trabajadoras de maquila en Matamoros, Tamaulipas en el norte de México.  Fue detenida el 8 de junio de 2020.  Desde entonces, diferentes organizaciones y sindicatos han exigido su liberación, responsabilizando tanto al gobierno del estado como a varias empresas maquiladoras.

El Centro de Información sobre Empresas y Derechos Humanos contactó a BVI, Merit, TPI, Tridonex, Kongsberg, Electrolux, Lexmark y BCS ASI para responder sobre la detención de la defensora; solo Tridonex respondió.
