Moçambique: Justiça Ambiental & World Rainforest Movement lançam relatório acusando Portucel Moçambique de usurpação de terra

Portucel Moçambique é uma empresa portuguesa que, entre as empresas de plantações, detém a maior concessão de terras – 356.000 hectares. Seu projeto prevê a construção de uma fábrica de celulose para exportação para o mercado Asiático. O relatório, disponível em Português e Inglês, é baseado numa investigação de campo durante cerca de 4 anos que monitorou a nível das comunidades a perda de terras e meios de sobrevivência das mesmas a este projeto de plantações em grande escala. Publicado por Justiça Ambiental/Amigos da Terra Moçambique em 2016, em parceria com o Movimento Mundial pelas Florestas Tropicais (WRM).
