Myanmar: Garment factory allegedly calls in 'thugs' to beat workers & fire them; incl. co. responses

In March 2023, it was reported that G&B Manufacturing Garment factory was calling in ‘thugs’ to beat workers and fire them. Workers also reported that if they could not meet targets, they were forced to work overtime without payment.

In October 2023, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited LPP S.A., Inditex and OVS S.p.A to respond. The responses can be found below.
