Myanmar: Over 200 garment workers allegedly dismissed from factory due to cancelled orders; incl. co. response

On 4 October 2022, over 200 workers at Tianjin Fashion Milestone factory who had been employed for less than six months were allegedly informed they would be laid off due to cancelled orders. Workers staged a protest, calling for the factory to act in accordance with the law.

it was also reported that the Workers' Committee, selected by the employer, remained silent on labour rights issues workers were reporting.
