“Workers at Bogart Garment Factory are forced to work for free without paying OT”, 27 December 2021
…Workers at the Bogart Women's Garment Factory…are being forced to work without overtime pay, factory workers told MLN on condition of anonymity…
"If the limit is not met, they will not pay. On Sundays, they are forced to go down and ask for free without paying OT," said a factory worker.
At present, there are reports that the factory will be paid only 3,600 kyats a day, threatening to force workers to do whatever they want.
The National Unity Government is preparing to reclaim the rights of workers whose labor rights have been violated in the meantime and will crack down on those who violate their rights.
