Myanmar: Workers call for compensation from factory closure owed three years ago; incl. co. responses
In April 2024, it was reported that workers at GTIG Eastar had not yet received the compensation owed to them three years ago, after a fire caused the factory to close.
In September 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited LPP (for its House brand), OVS SpA, HK Works London, Calliope and Inditex (for ZARA) and KIABI to respond. The responses can be found below.
