México: El sector hotelero esta acusado por violaciones de los derechos laborales de sus personas empleadas durante la pandemia; un hotel responde

El Centro de Información sobre Empresas y Derechos Humanos invitó a 7 hoteles a responder sobre una gama de violaciones a los derechos laborales de las personas trabajadoras durante la pandemia de Covid-19. Las alegaciones que hemos documentado incluyen despidos injustificados, vacaciones forzadas y la reducción de salarios.  La mayoría de las alegaciones se ubican en los estados de Quintana Roo y Baja California, siendo dos lugares claves para el sector de turismo en México.

Invitamos a Grupo Xcaret, Zul Flores, Hoteles Ríu, Grupo Posadas, Best Day Holiday Inn y Camino Real de Saltillo.  La respuesta de Hoteles Ríu se encuentra disponisble; las demás empresas no respondieron.
