New acts of repression target land defenders in Guatemala

On December 7-8, hundreds of police and anti-riot troops, along with mining company personnel, arrived effectively on behalf of KCA (and Radius Gold), with “verbal” orders to evict the community members who are peacefully and legally on their own community property.
