Panasonic's response

21 April 2023

We, the Panasonic Group, strive to conduct our business with suppliers in a way that fulfills our social responsibility in areas such as human rights and responsible employment, occupational health and safety, environmental conservation, and information security. Before starting a transaction, we present and request compliance with the “Panasonic Supply Chain CSR Promotion Guidelines” (hereinafter referred to as “the CSR Guidelines”). Conducting “CSR Self-Assessments” based on the CSR Guidelines is a condition for initiating transactions. In addition, even after the start of transactions, we let suppliers regularly submit the results of CSR Self-Assessments, and we conduct audits to confirm compliance status.

Through these efforts, we promote procurement activities together with suppliers while complying with laws and regulations, international standards, social norms, and corporate ethics.

For the Panasonic Group's initiatives related to responsible procurement, please refer to the "Responsible Supply Chain" on our Sustainability website. https://holdings.panasonic/global/corporate/sustainability/pdf/sdb2022e-supply_chain.pdf
