Perú: Región de Áncash en alerta por contaminación de cabeceras de cuencas por minería

Tras denuncias de una parlamentaria, se dio a conocer la posible contaminación minera de las cuencas hídricas de Áncash, lo cual pondría en grave riesgo a las comunidades de la región.  La parlamentaria atribuyó la contaminación a las operaciones mineras de la empresa Antamina [parte de BHP Billiton, Glencore, Mitsubishi Group y Teck Resources].  El Centro de Información sobre empresas y derechos humanos invitó a Antamina a responder.  La respuesta de Antamina está disponible abajo y también en inglésBHP Billiton, Glencore y Mitsubishi están disponibles en inglés.
