Probo Koala : l’indemnisation des victimes devrait bientôt commencer [Côte d'Ivoire]

Au mois de septembre, trois ans après la pollution de la région d’Abidjan par des déchets toxiques, l’affréteur du tanker-pollueur [l'entreprise Trafigura Beheer] avait accepté de dédommager les victimes... Mais fin octobre, l’argent déposé sur les comptes de Leigh Day [cabinet qui représente les victimes du Probo Koala] en Côte d’Ivoire a été gelé par la justice, suite à une plainte de la CNVDT [Coordination Nationale des Victimes des Déchets Toxiques], une organisation créée au mois d’août par Claude Gohourou... Vendredi, la justice ivoirienne a finalement tranché en faveur de Leigh Day & Co.
