“ICE responde petición de no supervisar hidroeléctrica por la que asesinaron a ambientalista en Honduras”, 9 de Marzo de 2016

…El Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) respondió a la solicitud que le hicieran los partidos Frente Amplio y de los Trabajadores, de no supervisar las obras en una hidroeléctrica en Honduras, misma por la que la ambientalista Berta Cáceres habría sido asesinada recientemente. “Toda expansión de los negocios de la empresa está enmarcada dentro de los principios de transparencia, eficiencia, conservación del ambiente y respeto a los derechos humanos”, respondió Carlos Obregón, presidente ejecutivo del ICE. Según Obregón, la negociación que lleva el ICE para participar en un proyecto hidroeléctrico en Honduras no está ligado a lo ocurrido con Berta Cáceres…
