...In response to the complaint from Syarifah's grandmother, RPSL has actively engaged in mediation with the grandmother's family several times in the past. These mediations involved various stakeholders, including the Sub-districts, Head of village, the city government, and the provincial government. These efforts underline our willingness to find amicable solutions to any issues raised by the community.

RPSL wishes to clarify that the damages to the house has been addressed prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. The mediation conducted with the Sub-districts and the Head of village where an agreement was reached. Repairs were carried out in collaboration with PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara – a Indonesia state-owned electricity company, which is situated opposite the grandmother's house. RPSL contributed by constructing a sturdier road with asphalt to minimize vibration and repair culverts...

In addressing, the grandmother's family request for compensation of IDR. 1.3 billion (approximately USD 85,000), which includes additional repairs to a house, well construction, travel expenses, and medical expenses. It is important to note that the family has not provided substantial proof for the expenses. The requested compensation appears to be significantly higher than the market value and median income for the region, leading us to believe that it may be an exorbitant demand...
