The Yenisei Department of Rostekhnadzor has fined Krasnoyarsk Gulidov Non-Ferrous Metals Plant OJSC (Krastsvetmet, Russia's largest refinery) 200,000 rubles for violations of industrial safety requirements, the department said in a statement.

During the inspection, it was established that Krastsvetmet operated the refining production building in the absence of an expert opinion entered in the register, and the building of workshop No. 3, which did not meet the established requirements. The company was brought to administrative liability under Part 1 of Article 9.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation of industrial safety requirements or conditions of licenses for carrying out activities in the field of industrial safety of hazardous production facilities - IF).
