"VSMPO-AVISMA" fined for violation in the use of X-ray equipment, 12 May 2022
The court penalised VSMPO-AVISMA from Verkhnyaya Salda with a fine of 50,000 roubles for an infringement in the use of X-ray equipment.

The claim was filed with the Arbitration Court of the Sverdlovsk Region by the territorial department of Rospotrebnadzor. As a result of the department's inspection in January 2022, a number of violations related to the use of X-ray machines were discovered at the enterprise.

Specifically, VSMPO-AVISMA handled X-ray units without a sanitary and epidemiological certificate, their purchase was carried out without registration and approval of an application and without notifying Rospotrebnadzor. In addition, a person responsible for accounting and storage of X-ray units was not appointed, and radiation safety monitoring of employees was not carried out in full.
