Samsung Electronics' position on EHS management in Vietnam

9 August 2024

Samsung Electronics strictly complies with environmental and safety laws and regulations at its Vietnam operations as well as all other global operations. We are working together with local communities and suppliers to establish a safe and healthy workplace that meets the highest global standards.

In cases where some on-site workers fail to comply with regulations, we take immediate corrective actions through continuous environmental, health, and safety checks. To prevent recurrence, we also make every effort in providing environmental, health, and safety training.

Under the principle of 'Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) is the First Principle of Management' Samsung Electronics applies stricter internal standards than the standards of respective countries. We invest heavily in environmental, health, and safety-related infrastructure, human resources, education, and support for our suppliers.
