Soya and corn farmers carried out a gun attack on Avá Guarani indigenous people in the Tekoha Guasu Guavirá Indigenous Land. Six indigenous people (mostly young women) had to be hospitalised. The community broadcast the attack live on their social networks.

The Avá Guarani have been demanding the demarcation of their original lands for decades. Farmers, ranchers and other segments of society act criminally against the communities.

In July, the community had already been the target of another attack.
