日本:外国人実習生22人 労災死

労災による死亡と認定された外国人技能実習生が二〇一四~一六年度の三年間で計二十二人に上ることが十四日、厚生労働省のまとめで分かった。大半が事故とみられるが過労死も一人いた。政府統計で実習生の労災死の実態が明らかになったのは初。労災保険の給付対象となる休業四日以上の労災件数は三年間の平均で年四百七十五件だった。実習生は職種が限られており、労災死比率が日本の雇用者全体の労災死比率を大きく上回っている。実習の名の下に日本人より危険で過酷な労働を負担している現実が示された。
