Mozambique: Justiça Ambiental, World Rainforest Movement & Acção Académica para o Desenvolvimento das Comunidades Rurais accuse Portucel Moçambique of land grabbing; it includes comments from the company

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Portucel Moçambique to respond to allegations of involvement in human rights abuses related to land conflicts in Mozambique. Justiça Ambiental and World Rainforest Movement (WRM) alleges Portucel's project includes the construction of a pulp mill and it has involved loss of lands and livelihood. The report accuses the Portucel Moçambique of land grabbing, as well as abusing the right to food, to work and impacting the livelihood of communities. The company responded.
