Tahoe Resources and its Guatemalan subsidiary, Minera San Rafael, are committed to the human and civil rights of all Guatemalan people…In recent weeks, we have been involved in extensive dialogue with a range of stakeholders to address locals’ concerns regarding the impacts of mining activities in the region and the protection of indigenous rights, particularly where mining operations take place in or adjacent to indigenous peoples’ territories.
