Tenke Fungurume was previously jointly owned by Freeport-McMoRan, Lundin Mining & Gécamines, from 2008.  Freeport-McMoRan sold its majority stake to China Molybdenum in November 2016, and Lunin Mining sold its stake to BHR Partners in April 2017.
