Thilawa community-driven operational grievance mechanism draft

See all tags

This document represents the first draft of the community-driven operational grevience mechanism (CD-OGM) for grievances arising out of the Thilawa SEZ, created by the Thilawa CD-OGM Design Committee, in consultation with other community members.

The CD-OGM will be run by a multi-stakeholder body, made up of representatives from the affected communities, project stakeholders, and a trusted third party. The basic structure of the CD-OGM will consist of 5 steps: communicating the grievance, initial determination/filter, investigation, decision and offer of remedy, and implementation.

This diagram is a visual representation of this draft CD-OGM. The draft and diagram are subject to change after further consultation with and input from community members.
