Author: UN Working Group on business & human rights, Published on: 4 April 2017

The UN Forum on Business and Human Rights is the global platform for yearly stock-taking and lesson-sharing on efforts to move the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights from paper to practice. The central theme of the 2017 Forum is “Realizing Access to Remedy”. The programme also features sessions for new audiences and discussions on broader policy trends that consider the role of the business and human rights movement in today’s political and social contexts around the world. For a brief explanation of aims, focus and background, see the concept note that is available here. The programme will be made available on this site in due course.

Stakeholders are invited to express interest and submit brief parallel session proposals for the 2017 Forum. Details about the process and criteria are available here. Deadline: 26 May
