UN Working Group on business & human rights requests information on cross-border law enforcement cooperation between States (due 28 Feb)

The UN Working Group on business and human rights is seeking information, through a questionnaire, for a study on "best practices and how to improve on the effectiveness of cross-border cooperation between States with respect to law enforcement on the issue of business and human rights". The UN WG is particularly interested in examples of cross-border cooperation in practice in areas such as human trafficking, the illegal timber trade, corruption, bribery, and environmental crime. The study is being prepared at the request of the Human Rights Council and will be presented to the Council at its 35th session in June 2017. The questionnaire is available in English, French and Spanish, and responses can also be submitted in those languages. Information should be sent to [email protected] by 28 February 2017
