BWH response to questions on recruitment risk to migrant workers during Qatar 2022

As a global organization, BWH℠ Hotels is deeply committed to ethical business practices that are consistent with fundamental human rights. Noting that the hotel in Qatar is independently owned and operated, we worked with the property prior to the 2022 World Cup to ensure the hotel complied with all applicable laws including those standards contained in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The hotel hired individuals from the local community to fulfill employment needs related to the event and followed fair recruitment and employment standards as provided by the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance in 2020.
