In a new development in the anti-Posco agitation, the contractors involved in construction work of the project have stopped their works to support the cause of the displaced people. The villagers of Nuagaon and Gadkujang panchyats are on a dharna in front of Ersama tehsil office for the last one week...Their 14 demands included employment to a member of each displaced family, implementation of rehabilitation policy and packages, increase in the rate of private land and substantial allowance for betel vine labourers.
