Htoo Group did not respond

The Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Htoo Group to respond to the JFM report alleging that the company “is a crony conglomerate led by Tay Za that has sold the military at least one ATR aircraft and provided MRO services for at least six of the air force’s ATR aircraft”. Air Bagan, Htoo Group’s subsidiary, allegedly “sold an ATR 42-320 (MSN 159) to the Myanmar military”.  On the other hand, Yangon Aircraft Engineering Aircraft Company, one of the group’s subsidiaries, provided “regular maintenance of some of the air force’s ATR aircraft”.

Htoo Group did not respond.
